| The film is based on the literary work 'Ghosha' by Gurujada Appa Rao. Narasimha Nandi apart from crafting the story has also directed the film. The film deals with the love affair of a youth and a fisher woman in a coastal village. According to a custom that existed there, lovers would be given the punishment of shaving their heads if they are found romancing on sea shore.
